TREATMENT
During the treatment, the action takes place mainly in a sitting or lying position. The intention is that no unpleasant pain is felt. You will be continuously informed about the procedure and the background. At any time you are invited to give feedback or ask questions. Similar to a massage or awareness of tense tissues, pressure may be felt, but this should not be painful. The rule here is that "more" is not necessarily better!
The effects of the treatment may last until about 24 hours afterwards, so a slight muscle soreness or deep relaxation may be felt. It is advisable to drink plenty of water during this period and stay active or rest as needed. Do what your body needs to optimally support the process that osteopathy sets in motion.
NOTICE
For legal reasons, we would like to point out that we cannot guarantee healing. Osteopathy cannot be effective in every case, nor do we make any claim to it. Osteopathy strives to optimize the condition of the body, which can make the body better able to release tension. However, it is important to understand that this is not the case in all situations. Nevertheless, osteopathy is an option in many cases.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
My osteopathic treatment involves a holistic approach to the health and well-being of the body. During a session, the osteopath will use a variety of techniques with the goal of releasing muscular tension, improving movement restrictions, and promoting overall balance in the body. This may include gentle manual manipulation of joints, muscles and tissues with the goal of increasing circulation, stimulating lymph flow and activating the body's self-healing abilities. The osteopath will also evaluate overall body posture and movement patterns to identify possible causes of discomfort. Depending on individual needs, treatment can be supplemented with advice on nutrition, lifestyle and exercises to aid recovery.
I hold a naturopath (Heilpraktiker) license and am a member of an osteopathic association (VFO), and meet the requirements for reimbursement by private health insurance companies.
The fee for a treatment is between 90,-€ and 130,- € per hour and depends on the respective treatment effort. Invoicing is done according to the fee schedule for naturopaths (GbüH). The GbüH is not a binding fee schedule, it serves as an orientation for invoicing. The therapy always includes a detailed anamnesis, a physical examination (according to medical, naturopathic and osteopathic principles) and the treatment (therapy concept). Privately insured patients can settle the fee with their private health insurance if they have the naturopath (Heilpraktiker) tariff in their insurance.
Please check with your health insurance company before your first appointment whether and to what extent the services can be covered.
